About Lorie Robinson
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Lorie moved to California in 1979 for a foot surgery residency. When tasked with decorating her first office, rather than purchasing art work, she decided to take art classes at the California Art Institute located in Westlake Village. Painting has been a journey from the precision work required of surgery to the artful expression of all that surrounds us. Lorie is a member of the Santa Barbara Art Association and has exhibited at Gallery 113 in Santa Barbara and the Faulkner Gallery.
